Leonard Shaw (keys, sax, flute & vocals) has toured with The Guess Who since 1990; as well with Ian Hunter , Ian Thomas, Dianne Heatherington & Terry Crawford. He’s now started playing Blues and jazz-edged R&B with Mojo and the Nighthawks.

John Ervin (electric bassist) has traveled around the world, from his home town of Chicago Illinois,
playing music. Among others, he has performed and/or recorded with: Willie Dixon, Koko Taylor,
Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, and Canadian artists Tom Jackson, Randy Backman, Valdy, Amy Sky,
Mark Jordan, Farmer’s Daughter, Jason McCoy, Amanda Stott, Heather Bishop and Fred Penner. He has
recently worked with Gladys Knight at Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas. Ervin, an active session musician,
has also been seen on Huron Carol (1997), Winnipeg’s Flood Relief Concert (1997), The Pan Am Games
Opening Ceremonies (1999), all broadcast nationally on CBC, and Indian Time two , an Aboriginal
Variety Shows (1992). He also performed on Indian Time 3 broadcast on APTN, Bravo, HBO and
Channel Four in Britain and Winnipeg’s Golden Jubilee Celebration to mark Queen Elizabeth II’s visit to
Canada to be broadcast live on CBC Newsworld. Ervin’s musical abilities cross over a wide range of
genres from jazz, blues, and country to musical theatre, children’s music and everything in between. In
Ervin’s current home of Winnipeg, MB. he has performed with hundreds of musicians, including Greg
Lowe, Ron Paley, Larry Roy, Wallie Larson, Jennifer Hanson and Big Dave McLean. Ervin has also
taught bass privately, at a professional musicians college and in workshops
