Taking Photos/Video at The Fort Garry Hotel
The Fort Garry Hotel is a beautiful historic piece of architecture inside and out. It’s no surprise that people choose The Fort Garry Hotel as the backdrop for their photos.
Whether for professional, personal or celebratory photos, The Fort Garry Hotel truly is the Grand Dame of selfies.
This is why The Fort Garry Hotel has a photo and video recording policy in place. We want to ensure the privacy and comfort of our guests is at the forefront of everything we do and offer.
If you’re interested in taking photos or video in the hotel, please review the following policies:
WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY
Only couples getting married at The Fort Garry Hotel are permitted to have their wedding photos in the hotel.
Please coordinate your photo/video session with your Conference Services Manager.
ALL OTHER PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY:
Whether you’re looking for a location for your next social media photo shoot; your engagement photos; your team’s headshots or your product line, please contact our Sales Department at sales@fortgarrythotel.com to book your photo/video session.
Note: All photo/video sessions MUST be booked and paid for in advance through our Sales Department at sales@fortgarryhotel.com.
For the privacy and comfort of our guests, unauthorized photo/video sessions are not permitted and you may be asked to end your session.
A signed Location Agreement and paid Location Fee are required to take photos and video in The Fort Garry Hotel.
Terms & Conditions for Photo/Video Sessions at The Fort Garry Hotel:
- Location Fee: $1,000, plus tax, for photo/video sessions up to two hours. $500, plus tax for each additional hour. Anything less than 2 hours is still subject to a fee of $1,000, plus tax.
- Must be booked, signed and paid for through our Sales Department.
- Photo/video sessions can only be booked within 2 weeks of photo session date; are subject to availability and cancellation.
- Photos sessions are not permitted in the Lobby, Oval Room Brasserie, nor Vida Cucina Italia.
Supplemental Charges will apply and are not limited to, set-up charges, late end times, room refreshes, cleaning, and other services that require staffing above normal levels and/or services outside of the normal scope contracted and paid products and services.
